We are situated in a prime position near Russell Square, and minutes from Russell Square tube station. Euston, Kings Cross and St Pancras Stations are all within ten minutes walking distance.

The surrounding Bloomsbury Squares, which have literary and intellectual associations with the Bloomsbury Group, contain many other University of London buildings and their gardens provide pleasant and peaceful refuges.

The Brunswick is our nearest shopping centre. Modern in design, and within a 5-minute walk, it has a Waitrose supermarket, restaurants, boutiques and an art-house cinema. The surrounding streets are some of London’s oldest and most charming. Marchmont Street and Lambs Conduit Street brim with independent shops, booksellers, cafes and pubs. The famous theatres, department stores and restaurants of Covent Garden and Oxford Street are within a 20-minute walk (or a short bus ride).

Disabled access

The Logan Hall, Jeffery Hall, Elvin Hall and Drama Studio on level 1 and the Clarke Hall on level 3, must not be considered as accessible to mobility impaired persons, as there are no means of evacuating persons – you are hereby requested to ensure that no one enters the Level 1 and Level 3 areas of the building who cannot evacuate these areas via staircases (please note that there are no safe means of assisting mobility impaired people up staircases in their wheelchairs).

Assisted evacuation via the staircases may be possible in some cases, but will require the submission of a risk assessed based PEEP (Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan) by meeting organisers.

All areas of levels 4 to 9 of the building are accessible and feature horizontal means of escape and adapted facilities.
